First try!
Ok. So this is a historic moment in my otherwise absolutely unspectacular life. At the ripe old age of 26, I braved the terrors of opening yet another account on yet another website, and spending aeons of time and brainpower figuring out a name which has not yet been taken, to open a blog.
Why the name, one might ask? Because, I am a geek, in every sense of the word. I study Computer Science for a living. Even expect to get a PhD out of it, after having mundanely ploughed through a Bachelors and a Masters in that very field. How much more geek can one get, after all? And I come with all the scintillating geek qualities attached - socially inept, introvert, uneasy around all except his own kind, a non-existent love life,...
Why now? You probably wonder? Why hadn't I discovered the delights of blogging before? That would explain the first part of my nom de plum on this site. Technophobic. Inspite of all my unbridled geekiness, I don't eat C code for breakfast, nor does my dinner conversation (if any) revolve around the latest version of the latest games being released. I still prefer phone to email, and email to IM, at least I did. Until something happened.
Well, here's another narrative being added to the millions already around this world. Wonder whoever reads these things. Why would anyone be remotely interested in knowing what I am thinking here in my room, what I am whining about on some random website. I don't even know how to write anything funny or interesting about myself or anything else. Whatever. We'll see.
